Joe Charles has been doing stand-up comedy for almost a decade now. He has performed with many great comics – too many to try kiss all their asses here.
In January of 2009, he was part of the “Comics Ready to Entertain Tour” along with John C. McDonnell and Scott Kennedy. The three of them had the privilege of entertaining U.S. Troops in Kuwait and Iraq.
Joe has used his comedy to help out many charities through fundraisers for the American Red Cross, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, The American Cancer Society and more. He is also the host of a monthly food drive and comedy show for Mama’s Kitchen – an organization that supplies a food pantry for victims of AIDS, HIV and Cancer.
He has performed on the talk show “The Boomer Show” filmed in La Jolla, Calif. and has been a part of many pilots that have failed miserably in the “industry” of Hollywood.
Joe can be seen performing regularly at the Mad House Comedy Club and The Comedy Palace in San Diego.
Joe was a semi-finalist in the 2008 Northwest Comedy Competition and a finalist in the Ultimate Laff Down Comedy Competition. Joe is the winner of the Inland Empire Comedy Competition beating out more than 70 other comedians from Los Angeles and was 1st runner-up in the Ocean Beach Comedy Competition beating out everyone except that one son-of-a-bitch.
